D.J. Fluker

D.j. Fluker is originally from Mississippi but moved to Foley when Katrina hit. He and his brother Leon played football at Foley High School. While D.j. was at Foley had all kinds of schools come look at him for college football. He had a tough selection on which school he wanted to go to cause he had so many to choose from. He made his selection and went to the University of Alabama.

Amanda Berry Found!

Amanda Berry was finally found after missing for 10 years. She was last seen at her work on her way home but nobody ever saw her after that. Her parents never gave up hope even though she has been missing they always had a hope that she was still somewhere alive. She had been locked up in a basement with three other girls. Berry somehow managed to escape the basement with the men left and yelled and screamed when one of the neighbors heard her. The neighbors knew that no women were living in the house beside them. So the neighbor ran over there and kicked down the door and immediately called 911. There they found the women who had been missing for 10 years.

Alabama NFL Draft Picks

Six Alabama players were selected in this years NFL draft pick. Three of the six players were selected in the first round consecutively. Dee Millner was selected at number nine, Chance Warmack was selected at ten, followed by D.J. Fluker at number 11. Dee Milliner was selected by the Jets, Chance Warmack was selected by the Titans, and D.J. Fluker was selected by the Chargers. Robert lester was chosen by the Carolina Panthers as a free agent to prove that he deserves to be in the NFL.

NFL Draft 2013

The draft is where the top college football players are drafted to play for an NFL team. The draft is a chance for players to make money and play the sport they love. The draft has 3 rounds starting Thursday and ending on Saturday. There is at least 3 Alabama players expected to go in the 1st round. These players consisting of Dee Milliner, Chance Warmack, and D.J. Fluker.

Chipper Jones Retired

Chipper Jones goes down in the Atlanta hall of fame as one of the greatest players the Braves ever had. Chipper Jones is one of the best switch hitters in baseball history. He could right handed just as good as he could left hitting more than 300 home runs. He started out in the outfield playing for the braves but as he got older he moved to 3rd base. His glove was just as good as his bat winning the gold glove award.

Three Days Grace Singer leaving

Lead Singer Adam Gontier leaves the band and calls it quits. He didn't tell the band in person he wrote them a letter just saying basically that he is leaving on his own terms. He said he is ill with something and also working on his solo album. He also said he does not feel bad for leaving the band but has lots of positive things to say about it like he is starting a new chapter in his life.

Alabama A-Day Game

Since Nick Saban's arrival in 2007 most people wouldn't consider Alabama's spring game to be a big deal. It is a very big deal in Tuscaloosa, Alabama as the spring game has been averaging over 86,000 fans. Alabama's spring game is scheduled to be on April 20, 2013.  This is a chance for fans to get a first glimpse of the team and hopeful for a 3rd National Title.

Deadliest catch is about a bunch or crabbers who fish in the Alaskan Bearing Sea. It is the most dangerous job in the world. Everyday they go out there they aren't sure if they will make it back or not. There are 6 boats that are featured on the show with all having the best crews out there. This show comes on Discovery channel and is one of the most watched shows on the discovery network.

The Devils Ride

The Devils Ride is a newer show on the discovery channel about a motorcycle club or gang. The show is based out of San Diego, California with a group called the " The Laffing Devils." It was originally started by a group of friends that just wanted to ride together and share the same stuff they all liked until the younger guys came in. The lead man the started the group stepped down as president because his motorcycle club turned out to be something that it wasn't supposed to be.

Ducky Dynasty

Duck Dynasty is a show on A&E thats about a redneck family with big bucks. They own a company that is called Duck and Buck commander where they make there money at. They also donate and do lots of charity events to help out America and anyone they can. The family consists of Phil, Si, Jase, Willie, Jep, and their wives. Miss Kay is the mom and loves to cook.

Alabama Recruits 8th grader?

It's not surprising 14-year-old Dylan Moses has received the attention he has after already claiming scholarship offers from Alabama and LSU. Nick Saban and Les Miles know the game better than anyone, and if they're really offering the 6'1, 215-pounder, they're not just doing it to get a kid some publicity.

Ravens Superbowl

The Baltimore Ravens won Super bowl 47. The ravens defeated the San Franscico 49ers. The super bowl was interesting this year as both head coaches were brothers. There was a lot on the line for the Ravens as superstar Ray Lewis planned to retire after the game. Well he did what he wanted so bad he won the super bowl and there is no better way to retire.

Hangout Fest

Hangout music fest is held every year on the Gulf Shores public beaches. It is one of the largest fest in Alabama besides the Bay fest in mobile. They bring in bands from everywhere to come the local beaches. It is great time for people to enjoy music and a great weekend.

Alabama players gone!

4 Bama players were suspended indefinitely and later just kicked off. The 4 players beat up a young man and stole his mac book and backpack but did not steal his wallet. Saban was not pleased with the action so he did what he felt was best and kicked them off the team. The 4 players names have not yet been released.

Extending the hunting season?

In the state of Alabama they are trying to extend the hunting season because of the late rut. In order to keep better population of the deer, the extension of the season would help keep track of how many animals are reproduced. They want to extend the season to mid February. It is not a for sure thing at this point.

Alabama Sports Enhancing Drugs?

Man claims to have giving some of the Alabama players S.W.A.T.S. This is a sports enhancing drug banned by most professional sports. It is suppose to give you the extra boost you need to finish the game strong without tiring as easy. He has claimed to have given a few players this supplement during the Alabama and LSU rematch game. This is still under further investigation at this point.

Why Honda Is The Best

Honda in my opinion makes the best four-wheelers. The reason I think they are the best is because they aren't belt driven like Yamaha and so you will not have to worry about that while riding your ATV. They also seem to outlast any other ATVs also. They are just an all around better choice for familys.
